Player development is at the core of what I do.
In my teen years, golf became a passion. Before long it was clear that this sport wasn't just a hobby, but a lifelong journey. I began working in the golf industry in 1993. Shortly after, I attended PGA school and graduated as a Class A PGA Professional in 2001. It soon became evident that my passion for people, had merged with my fascination for the golf swing, and the mental aptitude it takes to play this game. I enjoy building relationships on and off the course in the golf world, and I've been told my friendly and upbeat nature is contagious. Soon, I became a sought after Golf Instructor and put my time and energy into being among the best out there. It doesn't matter the age or skill level, I will help you to play your best game.
I am thankful to have kept my game alive over the years as a competitive player. This has proven beneficial in keeping my teaching skills sharp. as well as staying up with the latest advances in golf instruction and equipment.
I currently have teaching locations in Cumberland Valley as well as Dauphin County. The Golf Cave in downtown Carlisle, and Bumblebee Hollow in Harrisburg on Linglestown Rd. Both have access to extensive teaching aids and equipment as well as simulators. (GC Quad at The Golf Cave and Flightscope at Bumblebee. I would be honored to work with you on your game!

I have been happily married to my wife, Lindsey for over 26 years now, I am the father of 5 amazing children. We have lived a life of faith, heeding the call of God on our lives that has moved us all over the nation. Through this, we have grown in our gifts and our crafts, but more importantly as children of our most faithful Father in heaven. Last year, God brought us back home to Pennsylvania where I grew up and where we've spent almost a decade of our married lives. We came home to both friends and family in a thriving spiritual home.
As a PGA Professional, I bring 30 + years of broad experience from all over the United States to the golf industry. I am an accomplished player, club fitter and master teacher, building several successful golf programs from the ground up in regions such as the Denver Metropolitan area of Colorado - Los Angeles, California - Tucson, Arizona - Lincoln, Nebraska and of course here in the Cumberland Valley. I have worked to successfully build Juniors, Ladies and Mens golf programs everywhere I've established myself, and many of my juniors have gone on to play at the collegiate level. I have developed an understanding and approach to a simple yet extensive teaching philosophy.
